ABOUT
The Toasted Sandwich is a public speaking club which meets every Wednesday between midday and 1 pm at Discovery Park House, Ramsgate Road, Sandwich, Kent CT13 9ND. We currently run hybrid meetings where an online session is run alongside the in-person session. We are affiliated with the Toastmasters International Organisation which has over 270,000 members globally. Toastmasters International is one of the biggest and longest standing personal development organisations in the world today.
The role of club secretary is currently being held and shared by the committee members of The Toasted Sandwich.
Sarah Brisley

Sarah first joined The Toasted Sandwich back in 2018. She enjoys giving speeches and pushing herself to improve her communication and presentation skills. She is on the Team Collaboration pathway and is always willing to help out others to achieve their goals. Sarah has previously served as Club Secretary and is now 2020-21 Club President.

Shrina first joined Toastmasters in Jul 2023 and is now the VP of Public Relations. Shrina is currently working on the Dynamic Leadership pathway.

Antonio Salituro

Working as an environmental copywriter, Antonio has become an experienced public speaker thanks to Toastmaster, which he joined in 2018. After serving the club as VP Education for 4 years, Antonio is now the President. Besides mentoring other members, he completed the Presentation Mastery educational program and is currently working on the Humorous Speaking pathway.
James first joined the Toasted Sandwich in November 2020. He is eager to improve his communication and public speaking skills in support of his online sports fitness and coaching degree studies. He is currently serving as the Vice President of mentoring.
Fatma Salahioglu

Fatma first joined Toastmasters in 2017 following a Speechcraft Course ran by The Toasted Sandwich. She enjoys giving speeches, delivering workshops and trying new things to further improve her communication skills. She is on the Effective Mentoring pathway and is passionate about helping others develop their public speaking and leadership skills. Fatma is currently serving as the VP Public Relations, and is available as a mentor.
